Tuesday Randoms!
This one is gonna be short and sweet today, kind of a mish mash of thoughts if you will!
1. I finally gave in. I started listening to Pandora's Christmas Radio.
2. I am currently listening to Eartha Kitt's rendition of Santa Baby. One of my all time faves :)
3. I did a fun little Christmas manicure last night.
It cracks me up how many ppl on Pinterest, or Fashion bloggers are like "glittler nails are IN!" It makes me feel weird. Like, was I not "IN" two years ago with glitter nails? And will I not be "IN" with my glitter nails next year? If I wasn't, or I won't be, then oh well. I will always love my glitter nails. HA
4. I've been doing my hair with a middle part lately. I did it for a little bit last year during the fall, but it just didn't look right. I think my "bangs" or front layers are close to the right length to pull it off now. Snookums likes it. I walked out of the bathroom the first time I did it, and he was like "WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR? I LIKE IT!" haha. Sorry. Didn't know it looked so bad before? ;)
Thoughts?
5. My husband is currently doing this. I wasn't able to go watch today. I'm hopefully going tomorrow though! So proud of him. It's crazy, but very cool!
6. I am so ready to get out of this hotel room. It's hard to explain, I don't have much to do all day but be here, or run around, but at the same time, it is very hard to be productive here. ICK. I need a change of surroundings FAST Y'ALL!
7. I'm excited for Snookum's graduation this Friday! So proud he will be graduating yet another school, and adding another patch to his uniform ;) Also we will get to see his mom and my Momma Moo!!
We refer to them as the giggle sisters. They are hilarious together. They are always cracking up about something! I'm so glad they are becoming such good friends!
8. WE GET OUR FUR BABY SKEETER BACK!!! I have felt so lost without him. I can't wait to see his stinky little face! :)
Well. That's it for today.
I have a million and one things to do. And I must warn you (if there is anyone out there reading, there will be LOTS and LOTS of wedding pictures and posts when we get to North Carolina. We just got our wedding pictures back and they are BOMB. I am dying over them!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend :) (Weekend Wrap up)
This was our first Thanksgiving as a married couple :)
It was actually also our first ever together! Last year Snookums was here in Ft. Benning at Basic Training! It is so crazy to think that a full year later we are here together and married!
We couldn't make the trip back to Kentucky to see family, which was really sad in a way. I haven't missed a Thanksgiving there in Indiana with my Momma Moo's family, basically since I've been alive!
Momma Moo kept me updated with pics all day!
We definitely missed everyone, but it was also nice to just RELAX and not be DRIVING and EATING 24/7. (Well. We may have still done a lot of eating.)
On Thanksgiving day we actually went to lunch with a friend from his class, and his girlfriend! It was really nice :) They were super awesome, and chill. My kind of peoples. I make best friends with everyone wherever I go pretty much! (If I like you. HA.)
We decided to try out Cracker Barrel, and at least get something close to a traditional meal!
It was straight up PACKED. We had to wait around for a table for about 45 minutes, which meant we got to play with all the fun stuff :) (Yes. We act like children on a regular basis!)
Does anyone else remember this game??? With the rotating fishies, that open and close their mouths?? You have to aim your magnetic fishing poles into their mouths to "catch" them. I really. REALLY. loveloveloved this game when I was little!!
The meal was pretty good, you could tell our poor server was just soooo overwhelmed with everything. And they tried to short us sweet potato casserole. But we got it taken care of! HA.
I also entertained all of us by sharing my VAST knowledge of the rules and regulations of Ye Ol' Cracker Barrel.
I used to work there in high school. I got up to TWO stars on my apron. I was kind of a big deal.
Actually. I got in trouble all the time for trying to break their HORRIBLE dress code. oops.
Thursday night/afternoon Snookums passed out for HOURS from a food coma, and I may or may not have done a little bit of this while catching up on blogs.
Friday morning Snookums went and got us some coffee and donuts and we spent the morning watching the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade and making fun of the hosts. (on CBS)
(Did anyone else think they were constantly talking over each other and jabbing at each other the whole time? It was weird. I didn't know who they were either. I kind of just wanted them to be quiet.)
We decided to venture out and do a little shopping, but NOT until the Black Friday MADNESS had calmed down. We went over to Target around 7:30 and the place was still CRAZY.
We got our furbaby Skeeter some cute outfits. He will be receiving for Christmas an "Ugly Christmas Sweater" (that's what it's called) and a little T shirt that says, "BAH HUM BUG". I am so pumped to see his pretty little face in them!
I also got some funny Santa socks that I'm gonna rock with my boots for Christmas. :)
We went and gorged ourself on Carabbas that night, and came home and passed out from a food coma.
Saturday was also spent just relaxing, and we may have made another trip to Target, and bought an awesome duvet cover for our new apartment, as well as walked next door to Petsmart and bought more presents for Skeeter. It cracks me up, I am always like, let's just get skeeter another baby (his stuffed toys) and Snookums always says he doesn't need another one, but once we get in the store Snookums is picking up babies left and right that Skeeter just HAS to have. Really. I'm concerned for how spoiled our kids will be.
We also, once again ate waaaay too much food at Bonefish grill. Can I get an AMEN for those bang bang shrimp?
I have never been there without ordering them. THEY ARE SO GOOD!!
Also- I highly recommend the White Winter Cosmo if you go. It is so DELISH. It seriously tastes like a melted popsicle!! They serve it with three cranberries in it, which are WAY sour, but if you eat one while taking a sip it's so GOOD.
(The menu reads that is has Stoli Cranberry, White Cranberry Juice, and Cointreau. I'm gonna give this a try myself when we get to North Carolina and let ya know how it works out!) ;)
Sunday was also spent relaxing. (do you sense an overall theme here?) Airborne School has really been working them hard! They leave at 4:30 in the morning and sometimes don't get back until 6:00 p.m. And let me tell you- Snookums has some gnarly bruises from the harnesses! Snookums actually had to go in for some prepping because they are doing their FIRST JUMP on Monday (today).
He is so excited about it! And I am excited about it for him! (I may also be freaking out a little.)
I'm hoping I will get to go watch tomorrow!
