I'm going to let you in a little secret.
Actually, if you know me, or have read even a couple of my bloggy posts, or if you just take a gander around at my bloggy, you will know that I have "A COLOR".
I would say that I have a very specific tone/tint/shade of this color, but ANY shade in this color family makes me ECSTATIC!!!!
And that color, my friends is TURQUOISE.
Specifically on the lighter end, something right in between a "Tiffany Blue" and a "Sea Foam Green".
I truly am obsessed with this color. I am one of those people, that if I see something in this color, I am immediately DRAWN to it. I feel like I NEED to buy it. People see things in this color, and automatically think of me.
I should do a post some day of all the things IN THIS COLOR that I own. It's ridiculous.
If I had all the money in the world, I would literally do my ENTIRE house in white, black, neutral woods, copper, and THIS COLOR. Every. Single. Room.
I don't know why I even attempt to stray from this color. It has a hold on me.
(Funny thing is, I DO NOT like to WEAR this color. I have very, very few pieces of clothing in it.
The one big exception in that statement is the dress I'm wearing in my header photo. Other than that, I don't own a lot of pieces in that color!
(weird?)

I love turquoise it has quickly became one of my favorites! along with coral...haha totally on opposite spectrum's! I say yes, to a post of all you own in that color! :)
Have you heard of www.houseofturquoise.com yet? I just heard of her blog recently, and I guess she is from Mpls like me. I am a turquoise girl too. I almost got my kitchenaid mixer in that color, but opted for apple green instead. A lot of other things in my kitchen, and throughout my home are turquoise. Lurv. Oh and that snake = creepy/cool. ;)

That snake it crazy intense. I have a very similar love affair with red. I love it in my house and gravitate towards it, but never wear it.

Over the last year and a half, turquoise colored accent pieces have been making their way into my house and wardrobe. It was until I had to take everything down in my house and pack my suitcases that I realized how much I had come to love this color. So I must say you have fabulous taste, chickadee!! :)
