Today will wrap up the last of the recaps of the "Giggle sisters" visit!
Saturday we took the moms on the long but PRETTY drive to post.
We took them to where Snookums works every day!
We made sure to embarrass him efficiently and take photos with all the signs... LOL
(and yes... I wrote over what it really said. HAHA he doesn't work at a building that has a sign that says "Snookums and Moo".
After showing them around post, we went and did a little shopping at the local mall!
Momma Moo got us some awesome curtains for the house!
I had the curtains on the outside, but needed some sheer ones on the inside to let a little light in..
So we found these super adorable leopard print sheers that are the perfect match.
After doing a little shopping, we headed over to Buffalo Wild Wings to catch the UK v. LSU game.
And yeah. UK won. Of course :)
That night, after the game, we were all WORN OUT. (or I was anyway!) I fell asleep in the car on the way home and went straight to bed!!
The next morning (Sunday), Snookums and I woke up super early, and decided that we should go buy everyone some donuts from this local donut shop so we could have something to eat with our coffee, from our new Keurig!!! (Thanks to Momma Boo!!)
Imagine our surprise when we woke up and walked out into our kitchen, and living room, and saw EVERYTHING unpacked and organized, all kinds of groceries all organized in our pantry thanks to Momma Moo, and the Keurig from Momma Boo all set up!! It was like Christmas morning!!
The rest of the morning on Sunday, Snookums and Skeeter did some serious lounging.
Momma Moo and I decided to run out and do a little more shopping! We were ON THE HUNT for curtains for our kitchen and dining room. I'm being really picky, and I just can't seem to find what I want!! I've got a lot of blue and white in the two spaces, so I need to find something that will pick up and work with all those colors in a FUN print without being a boring neutral!!
I think I got about 5 compliments while we were out on my little owl necklace. (I bought this at Forever 21, on sale like two years ago for under $10, and I seriously get comments on it ALL THE TIME!)
While we were out I also spotted the PERFECT set of rugs for the living room and hall... Too bad they didn't come in the size I need :( BOO.
The weekend of the Giggle Sisters was seriously perfect!! It couldn't have gone ANY better. Snookums and I still feel REALLY spoiled that they came all this way and did all those things for us.
Our house is now even more organized, the laundry is done, the dishes are done, curtains are hung, treats have been bought, and plenty of food has been made and eaten.
I would say the weekend of the Giggle Sisters was a success.
Can't wait until their next visit!!

Yellow is always a good accent to blue and white. It brightens things up and adds a nice punch of color! I love your pictures and those sheers are AMAZING!!!
